Direct Primary Care is a simpler, more personal way to care for your child.
Instead of billing insurance for each visit, you pay a flat monthly membership. In return, you get direct access to your pediatrician, longer visits, and care that’s built around your family—not an insurance system.
No copays. No surprise bills. Just care when you need it.
Traditional practices are built around insurance billing and high patient volume.
We’ve chosen a different path.
At One Step Pediatrics, we’ve removed those barriers so we can focus entirely on you and your child. That means:
More time during visits
Easier communication
Care that feels personal, not rushed
Because they want care to feel easier—and more reliable.
Families join us for:
Same- or next-day visits when their child is sick
Direct access to their pediatrician
Time to ask questions and feel heard
Predictable monthly pricing
It’s pediatric care designed to reduce stress, and create peace of mind.
There are similarities—but also important differences.
Direct Primary Care does not bill insurance and is designed to be more accessible and affordable than traditional concierge models.
We focus on thoughtful, timely access and strong relationships with our families.
You’ll have direct access to your pediatrician during the day and into the evening for urgent concerns, along with overnight nurse triage support so you always have guidance when you need it.
Yes! Better access is one of the biggest advantages of this model. You’ll be able to reach your pediatrician more easily, self- schedule visits at your convenience through the patient portal, and spend more time getting your concerns addressed.
Yes—always.
Your child will build an ongoing relationship with Dr. Saint-Hilaire. That continuity allows for more thoughtful, proactive care and a deeper understanding of your child over time.
Because great care starts with a strong relationship.
When your pediatrician truly knows your child and your family, care becomes more proactive, more thoughtful, and more effective.
You’re not starting from scratch at every visit—we’re building on a shared understanding. That leads to better prevention, earlier diagnoses, and more meaningful conversations when they matter most.
Definitely.
Even healthy kids come with questions—fevers, rashes, sleep, feeding, or just wanting reassurance. With a direct primary care membership, you don’t have to think twice about reaching out or coming in.
You can get care and peace of mind when you need it.
Absolutely.
Children with more complex needs often benefit the most from this model. You’ll have more time during visits, easier access between visits, and help coordinating care with specialists.
We’re here to follow closely, adjust as needed, and support you every step of the way.
